Sylic® Textile Pretreatment Auxiliaries

Building Water Repellent Agent can impart water repellency to the surface of various materials, featured with high penetration, good adhesion, water resistance, reduces the capillary absorption of building materials, and does not block holes or capillaries. Water repellency can be up to 5-10 years, and can be applied to various building materials, such as bricks, tiles, concrete, natural stone, processed stone, sidewalks, parking decks, bridge structures, etc.

It can be used as a hydrophobic treatment for porous materials such as stone, bricks, ceramics, cement mortar, perlite, gypsum and fiber gypsum board, which can produce a waterproof effect inside and on the surface of the processed material, reduce water absorption

Sylic® Textile Pretreatment Auxiliaries

Pre-treatment is considered as the heart of textile processing. The adequate pre-treatment of textile goods is essential for the subsequent fault-free colouration and finishing processes.
In its greige form, the textile fibres may have many added or acquired impurities, which need to be optimally and effectively removed depending on the further steps of processing. A good pre-treatment ensures good uniformity and reproducibility.
 
 
It helps in achieving exceptional results in subsequent processes like dyeing, printing and finishing. By removing oil, wax, pectin and other impurities from textiles, pre-treatment chemicals make the textiles absorbent, whiter and create a base for further processing. The pre-treatment process is essential for textile dyeing, printing and finishing processes.

Peroxide Stabilizer

The objective of using Stabilizer during bleaching of cellulosic fibres with hydrogen peroxide is to achieve optimum and uniform whiteness and avoid detrimental impact on the tensile property. It prevents degradation of strength and resists the formation of pinholes by controlling the rate of decomposition of Hydrogen Peroxide.

The uniformity level in bleaching can be attained by suppressing the rapid decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. At Sylic global, we focus on improving the effectiveness of bleaching of textiles through the improved performance of peroxide stabiliser.
It is used as a hydrogen peroxide stabilizer in the alkaline oxygen one-bath, cold reactor and continuous steaming oxygen bleaching process of cotton, hemp, human cotton and its blended fabric.
Performance and Characteristics

1. Non-silicon stabilizer, with chelation and dispersing properties, can effectively control the decomposition rate of hydrogen peroxide, and avoid excessive damage caused by excessive decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.

2. It is resistant to strong alkali and high temperature, and has excellent whiteness under high temperature and high alkali conditions.

Application

It is used as a hydrogen peroxide stabilizer in the alkaline oxygen one-bath, cold reactor and continuous steaming oxygen bleaching process of cotton, hemp, human cotton and its blended fabric.

Recommended Process

Sylic P1600 is a concentrated product, which can be used as a general product after being diluted 3-5, and can also be used directly.

1. Cold heap process: dosage 2-3g / L;

Continuous steaming alkaline oxygen one bath oxygen bleaching process: dosage 2-3g / L;

Steaming oxygen bleaching process: 1-1.5g/L.

2. Batch alkaline oxygen one bath process: dosage 0.2-0.3g / L.

Packaging & Storage

Scouring Degreasing Agent

It is suitable for the dyeing and dyeing process of polyester woven, warp and weft knitted and spandex-containing fabrics or blended fabrics in the same bath.

Performance and Characteristics

1. It has good functions of desizing, scouring and penetration. It is suitable for the three-in-one treatment process of desizing, scouring and weight reduction of polyester fabrics, which can shorten the process flow, improve efficiency and save costs.

2. It has excellent emulsifying, dispersing ability and degreasing effect under neutral, weak acid and alkaline conditions. It is a product that combines degreasing and emulsifying. In the same-bath decontamination color process, the color spots and color flowers caused by oil and oligomer dipping in the tank can be eliminated, and the processing quality can be improved.

Application

It is suitable for the dyeing and dyeing process of polyester woven, warp and weft knitted and spandex-containing fabrics or blended fabrics in the same bath.

Recommended Process
Decontamination process of polyester knitted fabric scouring and dyeing in the same bath:

Sylic P1100: 0.3-1.0g/L

Leveling agent: X

Dye: Y

Temperature 120-130℃,

Treat for 30-60min, then cool down, wash with water, and out of the tank.

The specific process should be adjusted by the user through the sample as appropriate.

Sequestering Agent

Sequestering agents are used to link undesirable metal ions together to form a stable structure that does not readily decompose. This limits the metal ions’ ability to react with other ions, clays or polymers. Sequestering agents are commonly used for water treatment purposes to reduce water hardness. Improve the whiteness, vividness and color fastness of bleached, dyed and printed products, and at the same time prevent the white background of printed products and yarn-dyed products from being stained again. The process cycle of cotton blended fabrics and polyester gets shortened when sequestering agent is optimally utilized.
 
It is suitable for pre-treatment of cotton woven fabrics, scouring and high alkali processes such as mercerizing.
 
Performance and Characteristics

1. It integrates chelating and dispersing properties to effectively control the decomposition rate of hydrogen peroxide.

2. Suitable for cotton, linen, polyester and blended fabrics alkali-oxygen one-bath method, cold-rolling method and continuous steam-oxygen bleaching process.

3. Strong alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and chemical resistance.

Application

It is suitable for the penetration of various natural fibers, chemical fibers and their blended fabrics, cheese yarns, hanks, etc. in various processes such as pretreatment, dyeing, and finishing.

Recommended Process

1. Cold stacking process: dosage 2-3g/L;

Continuous steam alkali oxygen one-bath oxygen bleaching process: dosage 2-3g/L;

Separate steam oxygen bleaching process: dosage 1-1.5g/L.

2. Intermittent alkaline-oxygen one-bath process: dosage 0.2-0.3g/L.

Wetting Agent

Wetting agents are surfactants or blends of surfactants, in some cases formulated to function in a specific process. Wetting agents are used in most preparation, colouration and finishing processes. They provide fast penetration and wetting of textile fibres and fabrics, allowing higher pick up with uniform effect. They ensure that the dye or chemicals are fully penetrated into the fibre, yarn or fabric.

It is suitable for pre-treatment of cotton woven fabrics, scouring and high alkali processes such as mercerizing.
 
Performance and Characteristics
It has excellent stability and excellent permeability in 0-240g/L NaOH alkali bath, which can improve the permeability, wettability and liquid-liquid ratio of fabric under high alkali conditions.
Application
It is suitable for the penetration of various natural fibers, chemical fibers and their blended fabrics, cheese yarns, hanks, etc. in various processes such as pretreatment, dyeing, and finishing.
Recommended Process
Add the water directly, dilute to three with one part.General dosage: 1-5g/L
